These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the CelestMap Android app and the celestmap.com website (the “Services”). These pages are operated by the operator of celestmap.com. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of celestmap.com. By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

This page is a plain-language description for the website and app. It is not legal advice. Purchases in the Android app are also governed by Google Play’s terms and Google’s subscription policies.

1. What CelestMap is

CelestMap is a Western tropical astrology app for Android: natal birth chart (planets in zodiac signs, houses, major aspects), transits, sky context at your birth time, timed Sky Sit, and optional reflection notes. Chart calculation runs on your device. Content is for reflection, education, and entertainment. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, therapy, or a substitute for professional care. It is not financial or legal advice, guaranteed predictions, or a substitute for a licensed astrologer. You are responsible for decisions you make.

2. Eligibility

You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction (or have a parent or guardian’s consent where required). The Services are not directed to children under 13.

3. License and acceptable use

We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Android app (as distributed through Google Play when available) and this website. You agree not to copy or reverse-engineer the app except as allowed by law, interfere with the Services, use them unlawfully, or present CelestMap as medical, therapeutic, guaranteed outcomes, or professional astrological advice.

4. Your content

Charts, reflections, and Ask questions you enter stay on your device by default. You are responsible for what you write. We do not claim ownership of your practice notes. See the Privacy Policy for how data is stored.

5. In-app purchases

CelestMap may be used without a subscription for core practice features. Optional Pro features are sold as auto-renewable subscriptions through Google Play when the listing is live. Reference prices published for planning: $5.99 per month and $49.99 per year (US reference; Google Play shows the live price, period, and renewal terms on the paywall before you purchase). Payment, billing, cancellation, and refunds are handled by Google under Google Play’s terms. Manage subscriptions in Google Play.

6. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR THAT CHART OUTPUT IS SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR USE.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICES IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY US DOLLARS (USD $50), EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
